  • X-ray and Ultrasound
    • The clinic has onsite x-ray and automatic developing facilities to give the veterinarians the diagnostic capability needed to treat your pet to a high standard. X-ray and ultrasound are essential for our critical patients, so that the vet can view possible fractures, organ damage caused by trauma or debilitating problems that can only been seen by x-ray or ultrasound. We also provide a service to our breeder clients who require hip and elbow x-rays to be done and sent for scoring.
  • Ultrasonic Dentistry
    • It’s just like visiting your dentist but your pet is under an anaesthetic. Dental care forms a very important part of your pet’s health. A general dental includes a scale, polish and the application of fluoride to your pet’s teeth. Extractions are performed if required. Dental problems are very common for the smaller breed dogs. All dogs should have their teeth checked yearly when their annual vaccination and check up is performed. Many owners don’t realise just how important dental health is for their pets. Dental disease, if left untreated, can actually result in infection and disease of your pets internal organs. A daily dental routine for your pet is best. We have a range of products to prevent dental disease such as dental treats, dental food and even toothbrushes.
  • Blood testing and Pathology
    • The clinic has state of the art blood testing equipment on hand at all times to enable rapid results for your pet while you wait. We can detect a lot of common problems by running these tests, including snake envenomation and internal disorders. Blood testing will help give an accurate and comprehensive analysis of your pet’s internal health and well being. Blood tests are strongly recommended for all surgical patients as it gives us a window into your pet’s internal health and ensures we can make the anaesthesia as safe as possible. Our tissue and histopathology samples are sent to a laboratory just like the one your tissue samples are sent to and results are provided to the veterinarian for discussion of treatments options with owners.
  • Referral
    • Our clinic offers specialist referral when it is required.
  • House calls
    • House calls are available by phoning the clinic. It’s as easy as making the call. If you have a pet that doesn’t like the trip in the car, give a house call a try. It will make your life so much easier and will be less stressful for your pet. Our trained staff are available to help you with all your pet’s needs.

We offer all routine surgical procedures including desexing, orthopaedics and soft tissue repair. Dr Taylor has a special interest in orthopaedics and is regularly found fixing broken limbs with plates and pins or replacing knee ligaments.
  • Internal medicine
    • Patients may have a hospital stay at some time over their lives. So why not make it low stress and as comfortable as possible. A selection of our cages are heated and the room is air-conditioned, and we provide clean fresh bedding. Our internal medicine and surgical recovery ward is where your pet will stay if they are sick, injured or having a surgical procedure performed. It’s not uncommon for pet owner’s to bring along their pet’s blanket or toy from home to make their pet feel at ease. The internal medicine ward is just like your local hospital but it is for animals. It has all the mod cons and latest and up to date equipment in place to ensure your pet goes home as soon as they have recovered. It’s also where all the cuddling gets done.
